From 1:30 to 3:30 pm we have fun activities exploring fossils, minerals, rocks, and geologic time. At 3:30 pm our honoured invited speaker, geologist Reg Wilson, will provide an interactive talk on the full-colour best-selling book titled The Last Billion Years (2nd addition). The Last Billion Years unravels many surprises! Did you know that the positions of present-day Halifax and Saint John were once on separate continents? Or that the cliffs around the Bay of Fundy have yielded the oldest dinosaurs in Canada?
